The power source of the car charger is the car's generator, so before buying the car charger, you must first understand the current of the car's generator. The maximum current of generators in 90% of passenger cars on the market is about 100A-120A. Choose a suitable charger according to the following formula.
100A×80%×60%>Maximum charger input current (80% is the safe working current of the generator, 60% is the current required by the vehicle)
For example 100A×0.8×0.6 = 48A> TELUN charger input current is about 40A
According to the formula 100A or 120A on-board generator should choose on-board charger to input current of about 40A. The wrong choice of super current charger will shorten the life of the car generator.
