The coffee maker in our RV is on the same circuit as several other items that we use when making breakfast, and it's really easy to trip the breaker. We tried several options and just ended up tripping other breakers or even the main. Rather than just do one thing at a time, we're using this with a 12v battery and a trickle charger to run the coffee maker. the coffee pot doesn't run long, so a single 12v battery easily handles making the life-giving bean juice. The trickle charger is on a timer, so it charges up the battery at night when we're not pulling power for anything else. Eventually we'll use solar to charge it, but this was quick and easy to set up. The price for this inverter was good. Three outlets is plenty for our needs, we'll probably move something else to it that we don't run at the same time as the coffee maker. You can hear the fan spin up when it's brewing, but it's not obnoxious. The coffee pot pulls 1400 watts and we haven't had any issues. It should be able to handle more but we haven't pushed it. The USB charger could be handy but we're not using it for anything currently. It was easy to wire up, though we had to extend the cables with some heavy wire we had because the battery was a little ways away. The unit warms up a little but doesn't seem to have any problems keeping itself regulated.
